The Academy is way better than any other class. Here are many reasons why we should have the Academy next year for Sophomores is. The Academy is great and it is way more fun than being talked to by a teacher all class and having to get a lot of homework that you don't have time to do in class. In this class we almost never bring home homework because we get alot of time to finish it in class. This class incorporates three subjects into one project, paper, and many more different things.

I like  the way we learn in the class other than other classes where teachers don't help much like the Academy teachers do. I like that they don't do the same things as regular classes do which they make it more fun to learn. It is great that we get to pick how we get to present our projects on what we like to do. We just finished our exam projects that had to incorporate stuff we learned in Science. Social Studies, and English. All of the projects that I saw were great someone did there's on guitars, someone did there's on a video game called Fallout 3, and many more that were great.

Just last week we sent letter to different company to see if they will donate needed items for our class. Here are some examples for me I sent a letter to Best Buy to see if they will donate speakers for our classroom because the ones we have really suck and I got a star for that idea. Someone sent a letter to a curtain company to see if they will donate curtains because I always feel weird when other people look into our class.

  I hope these blogs about the Academy will convince people to have it for next year for Sophomores.

This week was a short week a three day week. On Monday we finished our letter. On Tuesday we talked about career cruising. We put our letters on letter paper. Finaly on Wensday we presented to the school board and it was very easy.

This week was the only full week than any other week. We worked on our letter to the school board on which electronic devices would be best for learning. We did ours on the Lenovo Thinkpad and the Dell Insperon Duo. We started to write a constitution for a fake country. We finished our video for art. We finished our art picture.

          This week was a great week short week but a great week. On Monday we got into groups of 8 and made five questions for a letter to a staff member for 1-to-1. I was paired up with Sean and our products we are thinking on testing is the Thinkpad, the Ipad 2, or the Apple tv. We teasted the Thinkpad and research the Thinkpad on the Thinkpad. On Tuesday they let us fix our product testing project. The best part of the week was going to the Apple store at Mafair Mall. We tested the Ipad 2 And the Apple tv then we got to go to the food court and get lunch and I got Arby's. It was a great week.

This week we ran for the four days this week. For the last two days of the week rather than listening to music we watched the movie “Fast Five” and it felt like time went a lot faster. We filmed us running on Thursday. We finished our Prezi. We took a test on the scientific method, agencies, and APA format.

This week Matt and I did our first set of test consisting of Water, Monster, Gatorade, and Red Bull. We ran on a elliptical machine for thirty minutes, and drinking it while we do our test. We looked up the ingredient in our drinks, and we started our Prezi.
